NDIS
We help people on the NDIS with everything from setting up a laptop or phone to using apps they enjoy. Lessons are one-on-one and go at your pace.
Support at Home (Aged Care)
Stay in touch with family, do your banking safely and get comfortable with your tablet or smartphone, with a patient teacher beside you.
Return to Work
Practical skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and more for people returning to work or moving into new work, including WorkCover SA clients.
How lessons work
At your home
We come to you for one-on-one computer lessons throughout Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs and surrounding areas. See the suburbs we currently service.
Online, from your home to mine
Prefer not to have a visit, or live outside our area? Lessons can be done remotely over an internet connection, from your home to mine. You get the same one-on-one attention and learn at your own pace.
At my home office
Prefer to come to me? Lessons are also available at my home office, with the same one-on-one attention and no rush.
You're in complete control. There are no contracts and no minimum tuition periods, so you choose how little or how much you learn. Our specialty is helping complete novices get up and running with confidence, but we're happy to teach more experienced clients too. We also have considerable experience helping people return to work after maternity leave or injury.
What we can teach you
Computer basics
Using a mouse, keyboard and touch screen, how files and folders work, and the everyday technology terms that sound like a foreign language. We also cover hardware vs software and installing printers, scanners and other equipment. Anti-virus and anti-spam installation is included free in our hourly fee.
Phones, tablets and smart devices
iPad, iPhone, Android phones and tablets, and smart TVs. Learn music streaming such as Spotify too.
Online life
Web browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox), email, internet banking and staying safe online.
Staying in touch
Video calls with Zoom, Teams and FaceTime, plus getting photos from your phone or camera onto your computer and editing them.
Work skills
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, from the basics up.
Storage and backup
USB sticks, external drives and cloud storage such as OneDrive and Google Drive.
